In Field Security App, you must to create a custom field type and put in the issue screen, after that you must grant permission to users ( it can be user, group, project role….) who you want them can view that custom field.
How to apply Field Security App to your Instance?
Go to Setting
Choose Issue
Choose Custom Fields
Choose custom field type you want and create.
Apply to issue screen.
And done, you have the custom field security in your issue view.
How to setup Project or Global in your Instance?
All custom field type that the application we provide is confidential, in order for the user to be able to view or edit it, permission is required.
The app provides two ways to grant user permissions:

In Field Security App have modules:
Global Configuration : grant permission for user with scope in Jira Instance.
Project Configuration: grant permission for user with scope only in Project.
Text Field Security: give the issue a text field inputted.
Multi-line Field Security: give the issue a text area field inputted.
Number Field Security: give the issue a number field inputted.
Date-time Field Security: give the issue a date-time field chosen.
User-Picker Field Security: give the issue a user-picker field chosen.
Group-Picker Field Security: give the issue a group-picker field chosen.
