In Field Security App, you must create a custom field type and put it on the issue screen. After that, you must grant permission to users ( it can be user, group, project role….) who you want them to be able to view, edit that custom field.
This application has 6 modules:
Field Security Project Setting: grants permission for user with scope only in a specific Project.
Field Security Text ( single - line): gives the issue a text field inputted.
Field Security Text ( multiple - line): gives the issue a text area field inputted.
Field Security Number: gives the issue a number field inputted.
Field Security User Picker: gives the issue a user-picker field chosen.
Field Security Group Picker: gives the issue a group-picker field chosen.
How to apply Field Security Custom Field Type to your Instance?
Go to Setting, and choose Issue
Choose Custom Fields on the left collapse, and click “Create custom field“.

Choose custom field type you want.
Give this custom field a name and click “Create“
Apply new custom field to issue screen.
After successfully creating the field, you have to put these fields in the Issue Screen.
Choose Screens:

You need to choose which Schema Screen to use in the Issue Screen, add your custom fields to Schema Screen.

And finally, you have the custom field security in the Issue Screen.
How to setup Field Security Project Setting in your Instance?

Each project has a separate configuration for each different custom field.
All custom field created from the Field Security App is confidential. In order for the user to be able to view or edit such field, permission is required.
The Field Security App grants user Edit/ View permissions.
Notes: If you grant the Edit permission, you always get the View permission.
