Overview
Assigning email templates to approvals Associating Email Templates to Approval allows you to link specific E-mail Email templates to existing approval. Approval.
Access the “Approval Configuration“ in application
Within the sidebar of Approval for Jira application, you should find a tab "Approval Configuration".
Triggering the Add
E-mailEmail Template Action
Click on Action Menu button.
Select Add Email Template action.
Add E-mail Template
There are 3 types of E-mail Templates that you need to assign:
Request Email Templates.
Approve Transition.
Decline Transition.

Note: There are 2 types of email format available: HTML (format provided) and Free text body (plain text). |
Configure Approval Request E-mail:
Define the email template sent to approvers when a new issue create.
Configure Approve Transition E-mail:
Customize the email template sent to stakeholders when an approval is granted and the request moves forward.
Configure Decline Transition E-mail:
Set up the email template sent to inform relevant parties when an approval is declined.
