Overview

Assigning email templates to approvals allows you to link specific E-mail templates to existing approval.

In this section

Triggering the Add E-mail Template Action

  • Click on Action Menu button.

Add E-mail Template

There are 3 types of E-mail Templates that you need to assign:

  • Request Email Templates.

  • Approve Transition.

  • Decline Transition.

Note: There are 2 types of email format available: HTML (format provided) and Free text body (plain text).

  1. Configure Approval Request E-mail:

  • Define the email template sent to approvers when a new issue create.

  1. Configure Approve Transition E-mail:

  • Customize the email template sent to stakeholders when an approval is granted and the request moves forward.

  1. Configure Decline Transition E-mail:

  • Set up the email template sent to inform relevant parties when an approval is declined.
