Overview

Inactivating an approval allows you to disable a specific approval. This can be useful when the approval is no longer needed, being replaced, or experiencing issues.

Access the “Approval Configuration“ in application

Within the sidebar of Approval for Jira application, you should find a tab "Approval Configuration".

Triggering the Inactive Action

Click on Action Menu button.

Select Inactive action.

Inactive an Approval

Select Inactive Button to inactive this approval.

Note: Inactive an approval is a permanent action that cannot be undone. You can inactivate it to prevent it from being applied to new issues, but existing issues using it will remain affected.
