SMTP server for NPS Cloud with Basic Authentication

Admin can configure SMTP mail server according to their SMTP configuration. To configure your SMTP mail server, go to Mail Configuration page on App navigation page.

Default mail server

NPS Mail Server is activated by default. NPS survey emails will be sent from nps@softcandylio.com.

Custom SMTP mail server

To configure your SMTP, click “Configure your own SMTP mail server“ button.

User should enter the required fields and test the connection before saving the configuration. “Save” button is disabled until the test connection has been successful.

When the test connection failed, an error section will be shown at the top of the page:

When the test connection has been successful, a success section will be shown at the top of the page:

Important Note: Admin should send a test email and make sure it sends successfully before activating this SMTP configuration.

When saving and activating the configuration successfully, the user will be redirected to the SMTP information page:

Admin can switch to NPS Mail Server by clicking the radio button above.

Admin can change the SMTP configuration by clicking the Edit link.

Send a test email

Admin can send a test email by clicking “Send a test email“ link.

Administrator can change some information in this form and click “Send“ button to send a test email.

To check if a test email was successfully sent, the administrator can view the mail log.
